🎅 Photos With Santa: Santa is making a special stop just for us! Bring the kids for a festive (and adorable!) photo moment to treasure forever.
📸 360 Photo Booth: Strike a pose and get a fun, spinning 360° video, perfect for holiday cards, social media, or just a good laugh!
️🛍️ Kids Market (Young Entrepreneurs Welcome!): This year, we’re hosting a Kids Market, where young creators can showcase their crafts, baked goods, artwork, and inventions and even run their own mini-business for the day! ABOUT THE FAIR
Observe the opportunity for children to launch their very own business!
At the Kids Holiday Market, children will have the chance to create their very own business, from developing a brand and crafting a product or service, to planning their marketing and selling to real customers at our one-day marketplace.
We invite you to join us for the first annual Lake Country Kids Holiday Market at Adeline Montessori. Your child will gain hands-on experience, build confidence, and take pride in showcasing their hard work. Plus, Santa will be visiting for photos, and the school will be hosting a Letters-to-Santa Station, a Create-Your-Own-Goodie-Bag Station, and will have winter-themed coloring pages for all children.
If you’ve joined us for our summer events, you already know how impactful and inspiring it can be to watch your child learn, grow, and interact with their community in this way. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to support and celebrate your young creator!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many businesses will you accept?
We will accept up to 20 businesses.
How much does it cost?
There is a $15 fee for each booth.
What ages are eligible to participate?
Participants can be ages 6 – 16
How do I apply? Can I apply as part of a group?
Applications must be submitted online. Please submit one application for each business. Children working as a group should submit one application that includes each child’s information. No more than 3 participants per business.
What if someone else has the same business idea?
Two cupcake businesses? Not a problem. In general, we will let market forces play out, though we will let later entries know if another applicant has a similar idea so the later entrant can decide what to do.
How will the fair be set up?
The fair will be hosted in the Adeline Montessori gymnasium. Each business will need to supply their own 6-foot table and chairs. Tablecloths will not be provided. We are not able to accommodate businesses requiring electricity.
Will electricity be available?
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide electricity to the booths.
What are the rules?
This event is designed to give children the experience of selling a product or service.
Parents of younger children may sit in the booth, but the children should be responsible for set up, customer interaction, and sales.
Parents may help their child fill out the application, but we expect the children to do as much as possible by themselves.
