What is Montessori?
Montessori is an education philosophy and practice that fosters rigorous, self-motivated growth for children and adolescents in all areas of their development, with a goal of nurturing each child’s natural desire for knowledge, understanding, and respect.
As soon as you enter a Montessori classroom, you know that something is different. You’ll observe children working independently and in groups, often with materials specially designed for them, focused and engaged in their work, respectful of their peers, themselves, and their surroundings.
Why Adeline Montessori?
Adeline Montessori School provides high-quality, personalized instruction for all students. It is our core belief that inclusion sets a foundation for compassion, understanding, and growth in our increasingly diverse world.
The AMS community of staff, faculty, and families strives to prepare children to become self-motivated by their innate sense of curiosity and encourage them to use critical thinking skills and diplomacy to overcome obstacles. Our team will guide students to problem-solve with empathy as they grow to become adults with integrity.
