PRIMARY
Virtual schooling will not be offered unless there is an entire classroom closure.
During the event of an entire classroom closure:
- Primary will be utilizing Seesaw, where teachers will send a math, a language, and a cultural work each day.
- Kindergarten lessons will be recorded by the classroom teacher with ideas of how to practice the concept at home.
- A minimum of one hour of work completion is required for students in 4K and 5K. This offering is optional for 3K students.
LOWER ELEMENTARY
Virtual schooling will not be offered unless there is an entire classroom closure.
During the event of an entire classroom closure:
- Lower Elementary will be utilizing Seesaw and Zoom. Students will receive a math, a language, and a cultural assignment to complete each day and will be presented with a live lesson.
- Log-in information, schedules, and work will be sent no sooner than 24 hours after the classroom closure or quarantine has begun.
- In order to be marked present for the day, students must attend their scheduled live lesson.
UPPER ELEMENTARY
In the instance of non-COVID-related illness: students will not be expected to complete work or have work sent to them while still ill.
In the case of a large number of students needing to quarantine based on COVID policy: work will be sent via Google Classroom no sooner than 24 hours after the quarantine has begun. This allows the teachers to prepare the materials accordingly.
In the event of a pre-planned vacation, please set up a meeting with your child’s teachers a minimum of one month before the planned absence to discuss potential learning opportunities.
In the event of a large class quarantine or classroom closure:
- Upper Elementary will be utilizing Google Classroom and Zoom.
- Students will be logged into Google Classroom during the first weeks of school to know how to use this platform.
- Daily schedules and work will be posted on Google Classroom no sooner than 24 hours after the classroom closure or quarantine has begun.
- In order to be marked present for the day, students must attend their scheduled live lesson.
SECONDARY 1/ MIDDLE SCHOOL
In the instance of non-COVID-related illness: students will not be expected to complete work or have work sent to them while still ill.
