Back to School
Adeline Montessori School will begin the 2020-2021 school year in a hybrid model of onsite and online learning.
This decision is based on the most current guidance from the CDC, AAP, and WI DIP with the belief that a face to face model is the best for academic learning, that younger students are more dependent on teachers with their learning, and the current reality of childcare options for families.
Elementary and Middle School families have the option to enroll online only or with a combination of face-to-face and online. We will continue to provide face to face child care for families who need it as well as for our younger students, where online is not developmentally appropriate.
A Unique Approach
AMS’s unique approach to online Montessori education is the first of its kind, utilizing best practices in digital/remote learning while integrating classic Montessori materials. The online materials have been developed with Montessori philosophy and pedagogy at the forefront so that they reflect the same sensorial hand-to-brain connection while encouraging a spirit of independence and self-guided learning.
AMS faculty boasts Montessori certified and degreed individuals with a collective classroom experience of over forty years and the new facility sits on over 2 acres of lush, green space. Utilizing education within this green space during face to face learning provides a one-of-a-kind experience for children as they become stewards of their environment. Small class-sizes have been designed to focus on educating the whole child.
